Meet the Inspectors

Rob Knepshield

President

Rob Knephshield became a home inspector in 1992 and founded RBS&K Home and Building Inspectors, Inc. the same year. He is also a lead home inspector instructor for ITA (Inspection Training Associates) and Kaplan Professional Schools (the ASHI School in Denver).

In his spare time, Rob enjoys horseback riding and camping in the mountains with his wife, Bev, and their dogs.

Industry involvement and recognition:

  • Member of ASHI
  • Served as education chairman, treasurer, secretary, vice president and president for the Rocky Mountain chapter of ASHI
  • Served as leader of ASHI’s Colorado Council of Representatives as well as leader of ASHI’s National Council of Representatives
  • Affiliate member of the Aurora Association of Realtors, South Metro Denver Realtor Association, and the Women’s Council of Realtors
  • Served on the Affiliate Committees for the Aurora Board of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors
  • Named Affiliate of the Year by both the Aurora Board of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors

Andres Martinez

Home Inspector
Andy has over 25 years of experience in commercial and residential construction. After earning his BS in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, he worked for Raytheon Polar Services and for the National Science Foundation (NSF) with the United Station Antarctic Program (USAP). As a project engineer, Andy was directly involved in the construction of the new South Pole Station in Antarctica. Over the course of 13 deployments to Antarctica, he has accumulated over 72 months of actual ice time, including two winters at the South Pole.

Andy is a Colorado native, currently residing in Wheatridge, CO. A carpenter by trade, he still enjoys remodeling old houses. He also plays volleyball and has a passion for dancing (Latin, Ballroom, Swing and Country).

Industry involvement and recognition:

  • Member of the ASHI Rocky Mountain Chapter in Colorado
  • Completed and passed the ASHI Home Inspection School Course
  • Passed the National Home Inspectors Examination, meeting all ASHI Standards and Practices

Rick Glassman

Home Inspector
Rick is a Colorado native who began his career as a home care specialist in the early 1980’s, performing quality control walks and customer orientations for a national home builder. In the late 1990’s and early 2000’s he was the Operations Manager for an electronic contract manufacturing company. In 2013 Rick decided to return to his roots and become a professional home inspector.

Rick enjoys traveling and fly fishing with his wife, Nancy.
